Wednesday night's Super5 draw made National Lottery history. All three major jackpots landed in a single draw, with players taking home more than €1 million in combined prizes.

The biggest winner scooped the €850,000 Super5 jackpot after matching the numbers 4, 9, 24, 29, and 49. The winning ticket was bought from a National Lottery outlet in St Paul's Bay.

Having all 3 jackpots won in the same evening draw with single tickets is an exceptionally rare event

A lucky player from Żurrieq won the €150,000 Super5 Plus jackpot with a single Quick Pick ticket. Completing the trio, a third player claimed the €20,000 top prize in the Super5-4-3-2-1 game on a €1 ticket.

National Lottery Chief Commercial Officer Franco de Gabriele described the draw as a historic moment. "Having all 3 jackpots won in the same evening draw with single tickets is an exceptionally rare event and perfectly illustrates why Super5 continues to capture the imagination and interest of thousands of players every week," he said.

"These are moments that transform dreams into reality and demonstrate the excitement that the national lottery of Malta brings to communities across the country," de Gabriele added.

Since the revamped Super5 format launched in July 2025, the top jackpot has now been won seven times. A total of €6.9 million in top prizes has been distributed to eight different winners.

The draw underscores the commercial strength of the National Lottery's product refresh. A single evening generating over €1 million in payouts points to sustained player engagement and the effectiveness of the new format in driving ticket sales.

For Malta's gaming sector, the event signals that lottery products remain a resilient revenue stream. The combination of large jackpots and frequent wins keeps the player base active and the brand visible.

With the revamped format now a year old, the National Lottery has demonstrated that product innovation can deliver both excitement for players and solid returns for the business.
