FinXP has teamed up with Buckzy Payments to offer internationally-active businesses a more integrated route for moving money across borders. The partnership marries FinXP's regulated European banking infrastructure, including euro accounts and SEPA instant payments, with Buckzy's real-time global network that uses stablecoin technology.

Maltese companies in sectors like iGaming, financial services, and trade will gain access to a combined proposition that reduces the need for multiple providers. FinXP's clients can now tap Buckzy's international banking network and stablecoin rails, while Buckzy's customers get direct SEPA access through FinXP's regulated platform.

Buckzy and FinXP share a common objective: to make international payments simpler, faster and more accessible for businesses.

Jens Podewski, co-founder and CEO at FinXP, said the two companies share a common objective to make international payments simpler, faster, and more accessible for businesses. "Buckzy brings strong global payment connectivity and modern API infrastructure, while FinXP contributes regulated European account and payment capabilities," he added.

Abdul Naushad, CEO at Buckzy Payments, noted that Europe is a critical market for his clients. "FinXP brings direct SEPA access, regulatory expertise, and a strong understanding of complex payment requirements," he said. The partnership enhances Buckzy's ability to offer an integrated route into European accounts and SEPA instant payments, while extending the international reach available to FinXP's clients.

The combined solution is designed to help businesses manage European accounts, collections, and payouts, extend payment reach across multiple currencies, and improve payment visibility and operational efficiency. This addresses a common pain point for Maltese firms that often juggle multiple banking relationships and payment gateways.

FinXP and Buckzy will initially focus on connecting European account and SEPA capabilities with Buckzy's cross-border infrastructure. They also plan to explore automated account provisioning, embedded payment services, multi-currency flows, and API-led financial infrastructure. For Malta's business community, this integration represents a step toward reducing friction in cross-border commerce, which is vital for a small open economy.
